What does VLT% mean for glass foil
PASSING VISIBLE LIGHT (VLT)
Transmitted visible light is the ratio of visible light (380 - 750 nm),
which passes through the glass to the general visible light falling on the glass.
Visible light transmission is the measurement used to evaluate the tinting of glass.
This is the percentage of visible light that passes through the film in this case (VLT%).
The lower the VLT%, the darker the film.
The higher the VLT%, the lighter the film.
VLT (Visible Light Transmittance) - shows in% how much sunlight is transmitted.
When the sun is very strong, everyone wants a foil with a low VLT% (this foil has a darker shade),
at the same time, when the weather is foggy and cloudy, the foil you would use may have a higher% VLT (this foil has a lighter shade).
And since the foil is mounted on the glass for a long period of time and does not change when the weather and light change,
you could opt for a film with a medium VLT% (this film has a medium dark shade),
But it's good to check the laws as well.
You should also be aware of the laws in your country when choosing tinted windows.
There are different laws everywhere about what percentage of eclipses you are allowed to have in your car.
Make sure you have the opportunity to avoid trouble and fines
